Easy Tealight Centerpieces

This is an easy and inexpensive idea for a:

* centerpiece (especially for a garden wedding or bridal shower)
*decoration for your home
*place setting (just tie a pretty little name tag on them)

Start with a few mason jars, some tealight candles, fresh flowers (I have used mini carnations) and some pretty ribbon

Cut the flowers at varying lengths and place them in the jars. Fill the jars with room temperature water. If you are using small carnations like I did, be sure and stick some of the flowers in upside down to add color to the bottom of the jar as well as the top. Also, my flowers floated, so if you have the same problem, you can fill the jar full of flowers so that they really don't have any room to float.
Screw on lids, add some pretty ribbon and top with a tealight candle. (Of course, be careful when your tealights are burning, since the flame will be near the ribbon.) So simple yet really pretty. You can adjust this to all seasons too.
